This is authentic Cuban food. There are many Cuban sandwiches but the Vargas Cafe is the best. Small and very busy during lunch.

The food was excellent but the restaurant has been closed for months due to a fire that destroyed the roof of the building. There has been no information if it will open again.

For years, every time I come to town I come here for a Spicy Cuban Sandwich. Yum! The seating is tiny and the volume loud, so get your food to go. The wait can be long so order ahead. They charge more for using a card so bring cash. They also give a military discount but you have to ask and bring your ID.

A small mom & pop typeCuban/Mexican cafe , not far from a lot of the cruise ship hotels. We walked from the Hampton Inn in about 20 minutes. We had a sándwich Cubano and some croquetes. Both were excellent!! Made to order, fresh and hot. Excellent, friendly service, and very reasonable prices.

Cuban sandwich was excellent. One of the best I've ever ordered. Roast pork plate was very good, but i wish they included sweet plantains with the rice & beans. I added a order of sweet plantains, and with the roast pork plate, it was $18.50
